Accessibility statement
What we build to, how we test it, what we know is still imperfect and how to tell us if something gets in your way.
01The standard we build to
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA: sufficient contrast, full keyboard operation, text that survives being enlarged, form fields that say what they are and pages that reflow on a phone without anything lost. That target is our own choice; if you need to know how the site measures against a particular regulatory standard for a contract, ask, and we'll answer against that standard.
- Every page type is checked with automated accessibility testing at phone and desktop widths on every release, and a serious failure stops the release.
- Keyboard paths, focus order and the quote forms are checked by hand.
- Folded sections open from a keyboard, a jump link or a link with a #section address.
02What we know is still imperfect
This site is new. It has not yet been tested with a screen reader by us, by an independent firm or by people who use assistive technology every day, and that kind of testing often finds problems an automated check can't. Voice input on the forms depends on your browser's own speech recognition, which isn't available in every browser; typing works without it.
03How to tell us something is in your way
If any part of this site stops you from doing what you came to do, tell us, and we'll work to fix it. Call 844-978-7283 (844-97-USAVE) or write to Gleason Insurance Brokers, LLC, 9477 Greenback Lane 524 A, Folsom, CA 95630. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and, if you use assistive technology, which one.
Anything you can do on this site, a broker can do with you by phone.
